In the 21st minute, Xavier Gallagher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of ZigZag Athletic booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cooper Thompson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute Issac Dawson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Söder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ZigZag Athletic's zone, Micah Macdonald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christer Söder came out of the goal and Micah Macdonald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicki Nick charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicki Nick the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ZigZag Athletic getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Nicki Nick hit a great ball. Christer Söder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kyle Cox's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Khalid Kennedy didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 42nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Kyle Cox managed to get in a good position for a shot. England's supporters rose to their feet, but Kyle Cox was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christer Söder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesper Vollander in the 52nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as England's Kyle Cox slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christer Söder. That made the score 1-2 after 77 minutes of play. With a little luck, ZigZag Athletic's Christer Söder got control of the ball when Issac Dawson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Micah Macdonald got free with Christer Söder in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christer Söder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Cox in the 85th minute of the match. When Kyle Cox in the 86th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Christer Söder kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. 88 minutes into the game, Leighton Davies was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. England's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ZigZag Athletic the free kick. After 88 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Leighton Davies. After a defensive mix-up in ZigZag Athletic's zone, Micah Macdonald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christer Söder came out of the goal and Micah Macdonald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Harry Houdini fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZigZag Athletic's protests and gave Harry Houdini a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ZigZag Athletic's Harry Houdini got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the match was over England could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ZigZag Athletic throughout the match.
