In the 5th minute of the match Italy got a corner. lןןl La Coconeta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Italy's Zaccheo Andolina getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 9th minute, Siricio Liotta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ediberto Righi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Alejandro Cabrera kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Jiménez in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Ramiro Enrique ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Vittori was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Italy's Siricio Liotta got a free kick in the 26th minute. Ediberto Righi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 29th minute of play. Flavio Vittori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Jiménez in the 33rd minute. Ediberto Righi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Alexis Maldonado got a throw-in 37 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alejandro Cabrera. The supporters of Italy booed when lןןl La Coconeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaccheo Andolina made a kick off. Italy were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after lןןl La Coconeta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sigfrido Auletta took the corner. 62 minutes into the match, lןןl La Coconeta's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Ediberto Righi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Italy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than lןןl La Coconeta.
