An unexpectedly hard shot by Isa Günyol in the 5th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 defense, Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Özgün Kamber. The BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Özgün Kamber should have stopped the shot. In the 11th minute Bogdan Bambas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's Özgün Kamber tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Casper Claes came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's Bogdan Bambas. But to his dismay, Bogdan Bambas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Barlas Siret hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Özgün Kamber in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bogdan Bambas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belgium's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Çağan Hürsoy was slow to take the kick. During this time BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Çağan Hürsoy got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Casper Claes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Casper Claes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bogdan Bambas went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Lenny Clocheret got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 83rd minute, Gürsel Durusoy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casper Claes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
