Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, El Gallo de Moron's Fidel Ortzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casper Claes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute El Gallo de Moron were awarded a corner. Fidel Ortzi went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on El Gallo de Moron's corner Fidel Ortzi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Casper Claes quite easily take care of the ball. Johnny Gobillot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 29th minute of the match. Fidel Ortzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. When Edward Vanderstraeten fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belgium's protests and gave Edward Vanderstraeten a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Edward Vanderstraeten. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferdinand Hohenzollern to make the kick off. Fidel Ortzi scored 2-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casper Claes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 55 minutes into the match, Fidel Ortzi notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Belgium's Casper Claes. Casper Claes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 62nd minute Ferdinand Hohenzollern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Ferrando hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johnny Gobillot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. Adriano Planovskiy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. With his leg Johnny Gobillot managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. El Gallo de Moron's Johnny Gobillot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save El Gallo de Moron from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute of the match Belgium got a corner. El Gallo de Moron's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 95th minute Ferdinand Hohenzollern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The El Gallo de Moron fans cheered their team off the field, for while Belgium had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
