Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Switzerland's Samuele Kunz started the match with a crisp pass. Valérien Jouglet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Stade Ygossais:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Switzerland:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in Switzerland's zone, Armand Boissin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hias Nüssli came out of the goal and Armand Boissin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Loustalot got a throw-in 32 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Armand Boissin. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Switzerland from getting a goal against them. Jacinto Maurer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valérien Jouglet having to interfere. Jacinto Maurer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Valérien Jouglet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer got a free kick in the 41st minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armand Boissin to make the kick off. If Jacinto Maurer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st play minute Jacinto Maurer came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Valérien Jouglet. 0-4. Edgard Blaison kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The supporters of Stade Ygossais booed when Switzerland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo von Känel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Timo Siegmund fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Switzerland's protests and gave Timo Siegmund a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th match minute, Switzerland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timo Siegmund to maneuver through the defense. The Stade Ygossais fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Switzerland were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
