Twierdza Osowiec's Ricardo Hendrickx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Sigfrido Auletta hit a great ball. In the 19th minute of the match Sigfrido Auletta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Hendrickx skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kartal Başar in the 23rd minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes Twierdza Osowiec got a freekick which was hit by Nils Daniels. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 30th minute of play forced Twierdza Osowiec's goalkeeper Ricardo Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Twierdza Osowiec's goalkeeper Ricardo Hendrickx, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute of the match Italy got a corner. Twierdza Osowiec's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Eliseo Cutri got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ricardo Hendrickx quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 36th minute of play forced Twierdza Osowiec's goalkeeper Ricardo Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kartal Başar scored 1-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavio Vittori, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Siricio Liotta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Hendrickx having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Billy Hendrickx made in the 53rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Pang Qiang Fan immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 57th minute of play forced Twierdza Osowiec's goalkeeper Ricardo Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gianpaolo Mascari made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Twierdza Osowiec's Billy Hendrickx. Mili Martin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Vittori having to interfere. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kartal Başar in the 67th minute of play. If Kartal Başar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 78 played minutes Twierdza Osowiec got a freekick which was hit by Kevinn Dolar. After a rather tough play, Twierdza Osowiec's Kevinn Dolar got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Twierdza Osowiec's goalkeeper Ricardo Hendrickx, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joško Van Landschoot in the 83rd minute of play. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Hendrickx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. The supporters of Twierdza Osowiec booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Cutri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Eliseo Cutri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joško Van Landschoot in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. Italy were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
