Antonia Webb made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Kyle Cox succeeded in the game's 30th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Sport Lisboa e Benfica's zone, Micah Macdonald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonia Webb came out of the goal and Micah Macdonald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When England's Kyle Cox in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 38 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Eddie Willis. 40 minutes into the match, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Cox came free, but Antonia Webb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 minutes of play, England's Micah Macdonald made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonia Webb was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kyle Cox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Antonia Webb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonia Webb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Cox in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half England were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kyle Cox stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Micah Macdonald came free with the goalkeeper in the 51st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Antonia Webb could save by the left post. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Kyle Cox scored to the left of an out of position Antonia Webb, making the score, 0-8. If Kyle Cox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonia Webb was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Issac Dawson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Issac Dawson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. Issac Dawson took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antonia Webb. Antonia Webb dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. In the 65th minute, Issac Dawson made a precise shot to the right of Antonia Webb. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. Kyle Cox struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Antonia Webb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for England. Antonia Webb made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Issac Dawson sent off a good shot on target. Kyle Cox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caelan Hayes in the 77th minute of play forced Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalkeeper Antonia Webb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Kyle Cox was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. England's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sport Lisboa e Benfica the free kick. After a rather tough play, England's Kyle Cox got a free kick in the 78th minute. Antonia Webb made an important save on a dangerous shot by Micah Macdonald in the 80th minute. Bradley Brasseur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khalid Kennedy having to interfere. If Kyle Cox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Antonia Webb got control of the ball when Micah Macdonald tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Sport Lisboa e Benfica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerrod Hope to maneuver through the defense. Kyle Cox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Jerrod Hope was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave England the free kick. Kyle Cox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sport Lisboa e Benfica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. England were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
