Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Redouane Loux took the kick off in the first half of the match. Erik Jilek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Olivier Couronne having to interfere. After some careless play in the Czech Republic defense, Redouane Loux kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. The Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavrinec Holub should have stopped the shot. Benjamin Plancke kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Vitek to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Erik Jilek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Czech Republic's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Jilek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierre-Olivier Couronne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Daniel Vitek got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rdth minute of the game Anatole Duchâtel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Anatole Duchâtel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anatole Duchâtel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Anatole Duchâtel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Kvetoslav Janku. In the 35th minute of the match Marcel Bourdel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vavrinec Holub showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Daniel Vitek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Rusil hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Erik Jilek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Czech Republic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Jilek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erik Jilek was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Planète Marseille's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Rezek came free, but Pierre-Olivier Couronne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 played minutes Planète Marseille got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Bourdel. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Redouane Louxs short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Vavrinec Holub to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Planète Marseille's Anatole Duchâtel in the 78th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Vavrinec Holub was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Czech Republic through an amazing save. Erik Jilek charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erik Jilek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Planète Marseille booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Jilek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Planète Marseille's Redouane Loux got a free kick in the 81st minute. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anatole Duchâtel in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Redouane Loux cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Vavrinec Holub was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
