In the 3rd minute of the match, Wim Wilmes sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Yassine Bounou showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Vestlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Saad Weeks sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Charles Vestlund kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnout Reekers. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Charles Vestlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Vestlund came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yassine Bounou having to interfere. Yassine Bounou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Eikelkamp in the 30th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in BK Falcon's zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yassine Bounou came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th minute BK Falcon were awarded a corner. Hubert Kvist went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 41st minute Charles Vestlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. BK Falcon's Yassine Bounou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 53rd minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Vestlund in the 57th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saad Weeks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yassine Bounou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BK Falcon's Yassine Bounou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 64th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Yassine Bounou in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yassine Bounou saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. BK Falcon's Richard Finman was substituted for Saad Weeks. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yassine Bounou having to interfere. Gust Ennemans kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Finman in the 87th minute of play. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute Bennvar Bennebjerg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. BK Falcon had won after a very even match.
