Hipólito Areosa kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Balduíno Sá prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emílio Chivukuvuku hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Vasques in the 83rd minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Lars Steen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Balduíno Sá, 1-1. Denmark were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
