Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Romania's Adam Olaru started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carol Stinga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Romania's Alex Serban got a free kick in the 10th minute. A collision led to CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein hit a great ball. Carol Stinga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xande Campbell in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 26th minute of play forced Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28thth minute of the game Adam Olaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Ludomil Ziomkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Adam Olaru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ludomil Ziomkowski was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Ludomil Ziomkowski came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Romania's Rasvan Cristescu. But to his dismay, Rasvan Cristescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 33 minutes into the match, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ludomil Ziomkowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Serban. In the 34th minute of the match, Adam Olaru tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ludomil Ziomkowski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Romania's Alex Serban managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pedro Geromel in the 37 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 46th minute of play forced Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Afonso da Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. Carol Stinga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein in the 51st minute of play. Carol Stinga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Gustavo da Silva was substituted for Pedro Geromel. In the 64th minute, Costica Vladimiri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Romania fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 75 played minutes CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Cléberson Munhoz. If Octavian Vaduva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. Ludomil Ziomkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Stinga in the 87th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Breno Torres in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carol Stinga saved Romania from getting behind. Anton Stinga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomil Ziomkowski having to interfere. Ludomil Ziomkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandru Pangratiu in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute Romania were awarded a corner.
