In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind AEK Lamia club's goalkeeper Dominic Toretto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Takacs Tibor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominic Toretto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takacs Tibor in the 23rd minute of play. Vörös Henrik made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that AEK Lamia club's Dominic Toretto managed to reach the ball for a save. Adamantios Kabitsis lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Hungary a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Antal Valentin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AEK Lamia club's Dominic Toretto. 0-1. Kyriakos Nikolatos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute Hegedus Henrik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominic Toretto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th match minute, AEK Lamia club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lakis Mallios to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Major Barna hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aimilios Kassapis's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Major Barna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dominic Toretto came out and tried to block the shot, but Major Barna slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 52nd minute. The throw-in from Szekeres Tamas in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AEK Lamia club's Giorgos Trichas. Hegedus Henrik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Dominic Toretto made a huge save. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktoras Mavrakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Vörös Henrik hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktoras Mavrakis in the 62nd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Szekeres Tamas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 played minutes AEK Lamia club got a freekick which was hit by Zinon Skilas. In the 76th minute, Boros Benedek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viktoras Mavrakis in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Zinon Skilas hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. A collision led to AEK Lamia club getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Aimilios Kassapis hit a great ball. If Viktoras Mavrakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96th minute Viktoras Mavrakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
