Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ramon Iztal took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antonio Giorgio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the game, Ramon Iztal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 10 minutes of play, Bayern Boliviano's Håkan Rudkvist made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! A sloppy throw-in by Cristi Chificeac in the 14th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. Bayern Boliviano's Antonio Giorgio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 18th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Håkan Rudkvist got free with Wilson Amorim in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, Bayern Boliviano's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Antonio Giorgio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Viriato Moura sped through Bayern Boliviano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Antonio Giorgio. Antonio Giorgio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 29th minute of play. Antonio Giorgio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 39th minute of play forced Bayern Boliviano's goalkeeper Antonio Giorgio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pär Sigfridsson kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Felipe Barreto struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Antonio Giorgio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal.

The wind increased when Viriato Moura made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Felipe Barreto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Antonio Giorgio. The goal made the score 2-2. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 57 minutes into the match, Bayern Boliviano's goalkeeper Antonio Giorgio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Barreto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 60th minute of play forced Bayern Boliviano's goalkeeper Antonio Giorgio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Bayern Boliviano's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Antonio Giorgio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Felipe Barreto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Antonio Giorgio. Felipe Barreto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramon Iztal's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute Daniel Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Giorgio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Ignatius Abancens came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Portugal eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
