Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Haydar Makul's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. 88 minutes into the match, PacMan SugarEaters's goalkeeper Thomas Ravelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. The supporters of PacMan SugarEaters booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomas Ravelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Haydar Makul in the 95th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
