Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Keenan Blake got the match started through his kick off. Vince Mabry charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vince Mabry the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute Joel Pollard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keenan Blake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Darron Messer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lake Junaluska FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Darron Messer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Pollard in the 23rd minute of play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Pollard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Germany booed when Lake Junaluska FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vince Mabry didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lake Junaluska FC's Winston Sheppard got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hilario Carro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 36th minute of play. If Keenan Blake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute of the match Lake Junaluska FC got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Winston Sheppard ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vince Mabry made in the 47th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Robin Irvin immediately put the ball in play. The Germany players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lake Junaluska FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Keenan Blake who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Pollard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Robin Irvin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hilario Carro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Holweck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lake Junaluska FC's zone, Albin Holweck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilario Carro came out of the goal and Albin Holweck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hilario Carro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lake Junaluska FC's Cyrus Hamlin was substituted for Jonathon Frost. After 86 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. Winston Sheppard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Albin Holweck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Carro having to interfere. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keenan Blake in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute of the match Lake Junaluska FC got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Winston Sheppard ran over to the corner to take the kick.
