Canarinho Atordoado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 14th minute, Camille Baume hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18thth minute of the game Frank Peletier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canarinho Atordoado's Evaristo Favoretto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Hélio Araújo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 74 minutes had been played. Evaristo Favoretto stood somewhat misplaced when Frank Peletier came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 81 minute. France's Remy Dupuy managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by César Travassos in the 86 minute of the game. In the 95th minute of the match, Frank Peletier got a very nice opportunity to score, but Evaristo Favoretto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the final whistle sounded France left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Canarinho Atordoado.
