Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. After taking down the ball on Palmares Futebol Clube's corner Thomás Maia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fodor Daniel quite easily take care of the ball. Cristiano da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Thomás Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmares Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomás Maia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th match minute, Palmares Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Botelho to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano da Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 23rd minute of the match. Cristiano da Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Cristiano da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of Hungary booed when Palmares Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarbas Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano da Rocha narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Hungary's Takacs Tibor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristiano da Rocha. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
