Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Jarl Apelqvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jarl Apelqvist really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Hammarby Gård's Sven-Oskar Dahlquist. Sven-Oskar Dahlquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarl Apelqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The supporters of Hammarby Gård booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Stieler didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sven-Oskar Dahlquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Hammarby Gård's Sven-Oskar Dahlquist. Sven-Oskar Dahlquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 28th minute, Jarl Apelqvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 2-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jarl Apelqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Germany's Frank Sachs dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. In the 69th minute Jarl Apelqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Oskar Dahlquist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 81st minute. Jarl Apelqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Germany's Frank Sachs in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hammarby Gård's goalie prevented a goal. Thor Ekström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 minutes, Willy Stieler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Hammarby Gård players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willy Stieler to maneuver through the defense. The Hammarby Gård manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Germany to win.
