Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glenn Huez in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Özcan Balcik to make the kick off. With a little luck, Uetendorf Wanderers's David Aberle got control of the ball when Yves Dervaux tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Nigel Devos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zachary Pionek didn't quite understand what happened when in the 95 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet.
