Rafa Morado kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 25th play minutes Delmiro Figueroa shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Wilson Amorim and just under the crossbar into goal. After 27 played minutes Clube Esportivo Saudade got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Morado. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Clube Esportivo Saudade's Bilbo Zafrilla got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 38 minutes, Lucas Villanueva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Esportivo Saudade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Villanueva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Wei Chuan Xuan was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Viriato Moura capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Viriato Moura really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto.
