An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Mauzer in the 10th minute of play forced MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper Abel Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Mauzer, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Thiago Ortiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. In the 88th match minute, MARINUS MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Zonta to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Martin Bosak dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abel Senna, 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in MARINUS MZC's zone, Dinko Stankovic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Senna came out of the goal and Dinko Stankovic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Croatia were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
