Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stelian Joldea in the 3rd minute of play. Reşat Rasifs short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Fodor Daniel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomasz Piwko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Boros Benedek got a free kick in the 18th minute. A hard shot by Apolo Beltza from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Fodor Daniel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Stelian Joldea came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Stelian Joldea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fodor Daniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Major Barna got a free kick in the 29th minute. A collision led to KS Piastów Sosnowiec getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Stelian Joldea hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Takacs Tibor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomasz Piwko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 42 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reşat Rasif got free with Fodor Daniel in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelian Joldea in the 51st minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomasz Piwko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stelian Joldea in the 54th minute of play. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stelian Joldea's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Stelian Joldea put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fodor Daniel. 62 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Stelian Joldea came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reşat Rasif in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 66 played minutes KS Piastów Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Mariusz Zgonina. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 68th minute of play. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stelian Joldea, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Stelian Joldea notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomasz Piwko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. If Mariusz Zgonina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Reşat Rasif came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of KS Piastów Sosnowiec booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szekeres Tamas didn't get a good kick on the ball.
