Arnout Scheerens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Vinicio Felipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 17th minute of play. Vinicio Felipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 20th minute of play. After 52 minutes EL CERVECERO F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vinicio Felipo quite easily take care of the ball. David Eikelkamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomir Tomiczek in the 57th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ernesto Playo was slow to take the kick. During this time EL CERVECERO F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Ernesto Playo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers did a great save. Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Gogo Gumaro was substituted for Célio Alagoano. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt hit a great ball. EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Vinicio Felipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 76th minute of play. When Gerardo Iraunkor fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EL CERVECERO F.C.'s protests and gave Gerardo Iraunkor a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Wim Wilmes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinicio Felipo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Felipo having to interfere. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
