Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zebastian Palmkvist started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the game, Germany's Frank Sachs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Åke Utter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 12 minutes FC NILS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frank Sachs who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Germany's Adrian Dreifuss getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a rather tough play, FC NILS's Håkan Löfgren got a free kick in the 14th minute. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bill Fitzpatrick in the 17th minute of play. Håkan Löfgren hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Germany's Frank Sachs ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Åke Utter. Åke Utter yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zebastian Palmkvist in the 31st minute of play. FC NILS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bill Fitzpatrick in the 32nd minute. The corner led FC NILS's Bill Fitzpatrick to fire away a dangerous shot which Tommy Kahn despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Bill Fitzpatrick cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bill Fitzpatrick in the 37th minute of the match. When FC NILS's Bill Fitzpatrick in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bill Fitzpatrick in the 40th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Willy Stieler threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC NILS's Ferdi Kadıoğlu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 47 minutes into the match, FC NILS's goalkeeper Åke Utter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Utter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Bill Fitzpatrick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Bill Fitzpatrick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC NILS's Stor Klack was substituted for Bill Fitzpatrick. FC NILS's Marko Hegg was substituted for Merry Christmann. Åke Utter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Zebastian Palmkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Stor Klack scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 2-2. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Stor Klack capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stor Klack really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stor Klack, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over FC NILS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Germany throughout the match.
