After 8 played minutes Yucatan F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Rocendo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Carulla in the 12th minute of play forced Yucatan F.C.'s goalkeeper Hector Chap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Carulla took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hector Chap. Hector Chap dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Hector Chap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Carulla, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 17 played minutes Amazonas got a freekick which was hit by Bizi Velandia. In the 18th match minute, Yucatan F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Sesuldo to maneuver through the defense. Anier Nuxila charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anier Nuxila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anier Nuxila kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Yucatan F.C.'s Hector Chap played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Carulla in the 23rd minute of play. Hector Chap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iratze Canillas, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Basilio Gabirel hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Yucatan F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Raul Carulla came free, but Hector Chap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match Amazonas got a corner. Yucatan F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cordarin Reboyras ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Yucatan F.C. getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Hector Sesuldo hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Raul Carulla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hector Chap. Yucatan F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raul Carulla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Tomás Calvino kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Raul Carulla took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hector Chap. Hector Chap dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 42nd minute, Cristobal Isazi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hector Chap was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hector Sesuldo to make the kick off. Hector Chap made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Zabarte in the 52nd minute. Raul Carulla did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Hector Chap 53 minutes into the match. Yucatan F.C.'s Hector Chap proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Yucatan F.C. from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes into the match, Raul Carulla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hector Chap, 0-6. Hector Chap came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Amazonas's Iratze Canillas. But to his dismay, Iratze Canillas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Hector Chap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Carulla in the 68th minute of play. Hector Chap was a little too slow when Raul Carulla got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-8. If Raul Carulla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Hector Chap successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tomás Calvino kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Iratze Canillas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Hector Chap was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raul Carulla succeeded in the game's 82nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-11. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raul Carulla in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Chap prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raul Carulla had several of the Yucatan F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 86 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-12 score and a disappointed Hector Chap as he didn't even see the shot coming. Raul Carulla struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Hector Chap didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amazonas. The crowd rose to their feet as Raul Carulla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hector Chap. That made the score 0-13 in the 92 minute of play. Amazonas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
