The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Róbert Benkó notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of NFH Family United's Gerard Koh. Gerard Koh was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 8th minute, Rivaldo Esquerdo made a precise shot to the right of Gerard Koh. NFH Family United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 10 minutes into the game, one of NFH Family United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 13th minute Rivaldo Esquerdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerard Koh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerard Koh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Róbert Benkó went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute, Róbert Benkó ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerard Koh was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Róbert Benkó sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Róbert Benkó in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerard Koh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Róbert Benkó might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerard Koh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Róbert Benkó ran back to his position shaking his head. Armada's Färid Mondragón proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Armada from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute of the game Rudy Tioe made a throw-in which Firdauz Choy played forward. Gerard Koh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbert Benkó, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armada's attentive Eliodor Coposu managed to snatch the ball when Sajeev Mathews made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. After having played for 47 minutes, Róbert Benkó managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Armada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Róbert Benkó was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The NFH Family United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Armada were winning 1-4.
After 52 played minutes NFH Family United got a freekick which was hit by Rudy Tioe. Róbert Benkó might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerard Koh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Róbert Benkó ran back to his position shaking his head. NFH Family United's Gerard Koh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save NFH Family United from getting a goal against them. Gerard Koh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbert Benkó, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 59 minutes in the game Rudy Tioe did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Anil Sum. After a rather tough play, NFH Family United's Rudy Tioe got a free kick in the 60th minute. Róbert Benkó might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerard Koh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Róbert Benkó ran back to his position shaking his head. Róbert Benkó's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gerard Koh firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbert Benkó in the 67th minute of play forced NFH Family United's goalkeeper Gerard Koh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Armada's Róbert Benkó ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gerard Koh. Gerard Koh yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by NFH Family United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ma Feng Sen was slow to take the kick. During this time Armada's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Ma Feng Sen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gerard Koh quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Armada's Ma Feng Sen got a free kick in the 74th minute. Róbert Benkó could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Gerard Koh made a huge save. In the 78th minute, Farhan Hui made a precise shot to the right of Färid Mondragón. Armada's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. Sarb Siong kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Róbert Benkó recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armada's Róbert Benkó got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Armada's Róbert Benkó ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gerard Koh. Gerard Koh yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-6. Rivaldo Esquerdo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerard Koh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Anil Sum made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Armada's Ma Feng Sen. Armada were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after NFH Family United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ma Feng Sen took the corner. In the 94th minute, Armada's Róbert Benkó dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-7. Armada's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
