Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) LRCA Office Club's Cléber dos Santos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bianco Tacco kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Alfred Sandström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maurício Linhares. Alfred Sandström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Jerry Kullgren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maurício Linhares came out and tried to block the shot, but Jerry Kullgren slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, LRCA Office Club's goalkeeper Maurício Linhares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfred Sandström. 19 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Cléber dos Santos came free, but Marek Szostak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, LRCA Office Club's goalkeeper Maurício Linhares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfred Sandström. AIF's Marek Szostak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho Rosa in the 24th minute of play. Marek Szostak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juninho Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurício Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Sandström in the 29th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in LRCA Office Club's zone, Alfred Sandström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício Linhares came out of the goal and Alfred Sandström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jerry Kullgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurício Linhares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jerry Kullgren to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes LRCA Office Club got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Carioca. Maurício Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Sandström in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, LRCA Office Club's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Sandström came free, but Maurício Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, LRCA Office Club's Glauco Mesquita got a free kick in the 69th minute. Alfred Sandström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfred Sandström charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfred Sandström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes AIF got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Sandström. After a rather tough play, AIF's Kenneth Frisk got a free kick in the 81st minute. Glauco Mesquita got his second yellow card in the match during the 84th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 85th minute, Glauco Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kenneth Frisk came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the AIF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kenneth Frisk couldn't finish the play. Maurício Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Kullgren in the 93rd minute of play. Marek Szostak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cléber dos Santos in the 97th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AIF had won after a very even match.
