Alfred Sandström scored 4-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tobias Lauaxeta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jerry Kullgren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tobias Lauaxeta came out and tried to block the shot, but Jerry Kullgren slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 33rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Jerry Kullgren made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Yucatan F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Sandström came free, but Tobias Lauaxeta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Alfred Sandström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Tobias Lauaxeta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kenneth Frisk kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Alfred Sandström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Rafael Demario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute of the match Jim Frykberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tobias Lauaxeta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 75th minute, Alfred Sandström made a precise shot to the right of Tobias Lauaxeta. Yucatan F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Tobias Lauaxeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenneth Frisk in the 82nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Yucatan F.C. defense, Alfred Sandström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Lauaxeta. The Yucatan F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Lauaxeta should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfred Sandström in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Lauaxeta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tobias Lauaxeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Sandström in the 97th minute of the match. AIF's Alfred Sandström got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the AIF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
