Carabata Groove's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damaso Patrido was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Damaso Patrido scored 1-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marciano Monico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute, Ulises Ipar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Mazaredo AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
