In the 12th minute, Chris Mergenthaler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alfonso Sciarretta came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the 贵阳观山湖联队 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Sciarretta couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 胡天升 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 胡竞广 made in the 24th minute of the game a quick throw-in and 韩荣杰 immediately put the ball in play. 贵阳观山湖联队's 胡天升 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 31st minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. In the 53rd minute of the match 韩荣杰 shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Alfonso Sciarretta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfonso Sciarretta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Albin Holweck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 胡天升 having to make a save. 乔伟枫 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 played minutes 贵阳观山湖联队 got a freekick which was hit by 郝明桑. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Sciarretta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute Alfonso Sciarretta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by 贵阳观山湖联队's Alfonso Sciarretta. But to his dismay, Alfonso Sciarretta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 贵阳观山湖联队 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
