Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Viriato Moura made the kick off which started today's match. 9 minutes into the match, Gastres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Pedro Pelayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 played minutes Gastres FC got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Claus. After recieving a nice pass, Portugal's Felipe Barreto tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Felipe Barreto scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Pelayo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Göran Nyström made in the 21st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jorge Quiroga. 23 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Miranda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Pedro Pelayo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Conrado Ramond struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gastres FC. Gastres FC's Teobaldo Belmiro was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 34th minute, Teobaldo Belmiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Calistrat Geangu in the 41st minute. After 46 minutes, Felipe Barreto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portugal and the Gastres FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Felipe Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teobaldo Belmiro made a kick off. When Gastres FC's Teobaldo Belmiro in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Portugal's goalie prevented a goal. In the 58th minute, Zacarias Claus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Gastres FC booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Pelayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Belmiro in the 67th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Zacarias Claus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zacarias Claus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. In the 73rd minute, Conrado Ramond left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gastres FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. Pedro Pelayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Belmiro in the 87th minute of play. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Belmiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartolomeu Dias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Pelayo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calistrat Geangu, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. If Felipinho Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 minutes, Teobaldo Belmiro made it 7-2 with a short kick to the right side. Portugal's Wilson Amorim tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gastres FC fully deserved thier win.
