Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edward Vanderstraeten took the kick off in the first half of the match. Egemen Aldemir hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Pedro Pelayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten, in the 10th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Belgium. A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Lenny Clocheret hit a great ball. Casper Claes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Calistrat Geangu went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Teobaldo Belmiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Casper Claes having to make a save. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Ramond in the 25th minute of the match. When Teobaldo Belmiro, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 26 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Casper Claes was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 32nd minute of play forced Gastres FC's goalkeeper Pedro Pelayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calistrat Geangu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute of the match Belgium got a corner. Gastres FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Belgium's Lenny Clocheret to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Pelayo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Pedro Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yves Dervaux in the 40th minute of play. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Ramond in the 41st minute of play. Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. 47 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Belmiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Casper Claes, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teobaldo Belmiro made a kick off. Pedro Pelayo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Vanderstraeten's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute Teobaldo Belmiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calistrat Geangu, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Gastres FC were awarded a corner. Jorge Quiroga went to the cornerflag to take it. Gastres FC's Jorge Quiroga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Casper Claes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Pelayo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. Edward Vanderstraeten was extremely unlucky when he, in the 65th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Belmiro in the 67th minute of the match. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Pelayo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Teobaldo Belmiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Ramond in the 76th minute of play. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Ramond in the 79th minute of play. Gastres FC's Benjamin Neto was substituted for Conrado Ramond. Gastres FC were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Belgium's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edward Vanderstraeten did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-1 to the left of a surprised Pedro Pelayo 89 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Laurens Vandamme got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Teobaldo Belmiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 94 played minutes Gastres FC got a freekick which was hit by Göran Nyström. Gastres FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Belgium for a fine match.
