Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Slovakia's Metod Mlynar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Påk in the 6th minute of play forced Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Slovakia booed when Kvissleby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Liljeström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Metod Mlynar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Dick Skarkman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Hubert Påk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Slovakia's Henrich Slany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Påk in the 16th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Kornel Jahoda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Kvissleby's Dick Skarkman got control of the ball when Metod Mlynar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Hubert Påk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kvissleby's supporters rose to their feet, but Hubert Påk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrich Slany breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alf Ekegren might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrich Slany. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hubert Påk to make the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Slovakia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! Vavrinec Koleno kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Valdemar Liljeström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Henrich Slany came out and tried to block the shot, but Valdemar Liljeström slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 63rd minute. After 66 played minutes Slovakia got a freekick which was hit by Vavrinec Koleno. In the 71st minute, Metod Mlynar made a precise shot to the right of Dick Skarkman. Kvissleby's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After having played for 75 minutes, Metod Mlynar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slovakia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Metod Mlynar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Metod Mlynar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dick Skarkman. Kvissleby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Metod Mlynar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Metod Mlynar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Metod Mlynar got a free kick in the 86th minute. Hubert Påk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
