In the 11th minute, Piotr Kawa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tolek Czeberowski made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Zaccheo Andolina sent off a good shot on target. Flavio Vittori didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damazy Joks went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to KS Olimpia Warszawa getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Piotr Kawa hit a great ball. Tolek Czeberowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zaccheo Andolina's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Damazy Joks blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Vittori having to make a save. In the 29th minute Damazy Joks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Gianpaolo Mascari threw the ball into play from the sideline. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Arkadiusz Smuskiewicz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind KS Olimpia Warszawa's goalkeeper Tolek Czeberowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Fabiano Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damazy Joks was the one to do the kick off. Tolek Czeberowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 58th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damazy Joks. Thanks to some nice moves Damazy Joks could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Flavio Vittori however easily saved by the left post. When Siricio Liotta came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Siricio Liotta couldn't finish the play. KS Olimpia Warszawa made a substitution. Jack Sugar replaced Lachezar Tetevenski. 71 minutes into the match, KS Olimpia Warszawa's Damazy Joks sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Vittori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. KS Olimpia Warszawa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Walery Glapiak in the 73rd minute. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Sharma Sharma was substituted for Damazy Joks. 88 minutes in the game Emilio Sesse did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Piotr Kawa. 89 minutes into the match, Sharma Sharma dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Flavio Vittori, 1-2. The audience was convinced that Sharma Sharma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Vittori was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Siricio Liotta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Tolek Czeberowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of KS Olimpia Warszawa were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Italy side.
