In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yaman Academy®'s goalkeeper Long Liang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 40 minutes into the game, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Long Liang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The supporters of Italy booed when Yaman Academy® was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bastiaan Heirremans didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Sigfrido Auletta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sigfrido Auletta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaccheo Andolina was the one to do the kick off. Long Liang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sostene Vitulli in the 58th minute. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mari Balotelli in the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Mari Balotelli came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Yaman Academy® was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efe Akçay to maneuver through the defense. Adriano Curto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Long Liang made a huge save. Italy were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
