Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frank Sachs took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Tod McCartney came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Stickleback Utd Xl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tod McCartney couldn't finish the play. Francis Curtis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. The supporters of Stickleback Utd Xl booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janik Vogt didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Stickleback Utd Xl getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Tony Featherstone hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gary Pettifer in the 17th minute of play. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th minute, Stickleback Utd Xl's Tod McCartney ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Tod McCartney came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Holweck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sly Collier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute, Tod McCartney left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stickleback Utd Xl fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Francis Curtis took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Sly Collier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tod McCartney made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Germany's Malte Schiele got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Stickleback Utd Xl's Sly Collier got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Tod McCartney notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stickleback Utd Xl made a substitution. Huey Blackwater replaced Benji Browne. 66 minutes into the game, Huey Blackwater threw the ball into play from the sideline. Germany's Albin Holweck quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in Stickleback Utd Xl's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sly Collier came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francis Curtis in the 72nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tod McCartney in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Francis Curtis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute of the match, Albin Holweck tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sly Collier saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Stickleback Utd Xl walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
