Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. After 6 played minutes Borussia Dortmund MZB got a freekick which was hit by Cui Qian Jun. 9 minutes into the match, Oséias Palmeira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnout Reekers, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jiang Chao Di. 17 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jiang Chao Di was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jiang Chao Di stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Luís Fabiano Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, Oséias Palmeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal and Oséias Palmeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnout Reekers was a little too slow when Oséias Palmeira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-2. Oséias Palmeira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnout Reekers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Fabiano Leão to strike the kick off in the second half. Jiang Chao Di showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Justino Abarca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jiang Chao Di showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Eikelkamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Jiang Chao Di took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Gernando Pernambucano was substituted for Oséias Palmeira. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from LeBron Naldo in the 71st minute of the match. In the 77th of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Jiang Chao Di got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 78th minute LeBron Naldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers LeBron Naldo in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. Kees Mooiweer kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund MZB's goalkeeper Jiang Chao Di had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jiang Chao Di tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Many of Netherlands's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Netherlands may have spent more time on the ball, but Borussia Dortmund MZB were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
