Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Viriato Moura took the kick off in the first half of the match. Xiao Wei Yan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. The FC Hans fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when FC Hans's Xiao Wei Yan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Arvidsson in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Caetano Moreira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Timmy Kjellkvist. Caetano Moreira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rodolfo Miranda hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Arvidsson came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viriato Moura received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Timmy Kjellkvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Viriato Moura slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 21st minute. After 27 played minutes FC Hans got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luiz Sanches. Timmy Kjellkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 28th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, FC Hans's Ulf Arvidsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Daniel Pimentel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute Ulf Arvidsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Waller in the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Xiao Wei Yan came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Graciano Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Daniel Pimentel got a free kick in the 44th minute. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Arvidsson in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of FC Hans booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Pimentel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erland Trolle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xiao Wei Yan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Xiao Wei Yan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Hans fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Xiao Wei Yan struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Hans. FC Hans made a substitution. Firman Morientes replaced Erland Trolle. In the 58th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Pimentel to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC Hans's zone, Daniel Pimentel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timmy Kjellkvist came out of the goal and Daniel Pimentel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Firman Morientes in the 67th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portugal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dan Waller was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Hans's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Dan Waller got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wilson Amorim quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. FC Hans's Timmy Kjellkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 76th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dan Waller in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Jonas Ståhlberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Amorim was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Sílvio Luiz Sanches in the 86th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Felipinho Amorim. Timmy Kjellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Hans's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Pimentel was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Portugal's Felipinho Amorim to fire away a dangerous shot which Timmy Kjellkvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
