Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Teobaldo Belmiro got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rdth minute of the game Teobaldo Belmiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Calistrat Geangu scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Pelayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Felipe Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Pedro Pelayo made a huge save. 20 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Portugal's Felipe Barreto fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Pedro Pelayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Barreto in the 22nd minute. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Pelayo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Gastres FC's Pedro Pelayo got control of the ball when Felipe Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Felipe Barreto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Pelayo having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Pedro Pelayo in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calistrat Geangu in the 42nd minute of play. Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Pelayo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Pedro Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Moreira in the 46th minute of play. The Portugal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gastres FC were winning 0-2.

50 minutes into the match, Gastres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Moreira came free, but Pedro Pelayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calistrat Geangu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wilson Amorim firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 53rd minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Pelayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Pelayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Moreira in the 57th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Teobaldo Belmiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teobaldo Belmiro really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. A collision led to Gastres FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Edmílson Porto hit a great ball. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Felipinho Amorim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Pelayo having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 82nd minute of play forced Gastres FC's goalkeeper Pedro Pelayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teobaldo Belmiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teobaldo Belmiro ran back to his position shaking his head. 87 minutes into the match, Gastres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomeu Dias came free, but Pedro Pelayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Pelayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 89th minute of the match. Pedro Pelayo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caetano Moreira went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Gastres FC's Feliberto Cuarto was substituted for Tomasz Zurawski. Pedro Pelayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipinho Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gastres FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
