Flavio Vittori made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Marian Italia sent off a good shot on target. FC WAWER's Zenon Jandryca was substituted for Fatih Özbay. 72 minutes into the match, FC WAWER's goal looked a bit too open when Guiscardo Davide came free, but David Ferran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zenon Jandryca in the 73rd minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Ferran made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Guiscardo Davide sent off a good shot on target. Italy were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
