ALIDIM FOR EVER's Herminio Gizon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Olaru in the 15th minute of play. Carol Stinga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Pinto in the 17th minute of play. Eugen Nita kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Jairo Selatse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romania were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after ALIDIM FOR EVER's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adam Olaru took the corner. Herminio Gizon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Serban, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Rasvan Cristescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Herminio Gizon made a huge save. ALIDIM FOR EVER's Herminio Gizon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save ALIDIM FOR EVER from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes into the match, ALIDIM FOR EVER's goalkeeper Herminio Gizon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costica Vladimiri. 45 minutes into the match, ALIDIM FOR EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Costica Vladimiri came free, but Herminio Gizon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute of the match Romania got a corner. ALIDIM FOR EVER's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adam Olaru ran over to the corner to take the kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Olaru to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Selatse in the 52nd minute of play forced Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
