Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Pastor Celipe sent off a good shot on target. Don Malbec were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pastor Celipe took the corner. The corner ended in Dragoş Hârșu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. 40 minutes into the game, Dragoş Hârșu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn. Dragoş Hârșu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

German Cristos hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute Gaby Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Janik Vogt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elmas Veloz in the 67th minute of the match. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Sachs in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aurelio Astudillo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaby Batistuta's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Albin Holweck reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aurelio Astudillo. The goal made the score 3-1. In the 92nd minute, Gaby Batistuta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Don Malbec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaby Batistuta in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Don Malbec were the better team. Don Malbec's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
