Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ludvig Rudkvist in the 31st minute. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antal Valentin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emiliano Polito having to make a save. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Emilio Rizzo sped through Hungary's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel.
