Camille Baume could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but João Carlos Maranhense made a huge save. João Carlos Maranhense didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 4th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. João Carlos Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camille Baume in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Chester Bennington's goalkeeper João Carlos Maranhense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Peletier. João Carlos Maranhense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Camille Baume went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 13th minute Camille Baume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Peletiers short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got João Carlos Maranhense to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. João Carlos Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camille Baume in the 15th minute of play. João Carlos Maranhense made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Camille Baume sent off a good shot on target. Frank Peletier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but João Carlos Maranhense made a huge save. In the 20th minute, Frank Peletier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The France fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Frank Peletier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Carlos Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camille Baume in the 29th minute of the match. Chester Bennington's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Remy Dupuy scored to the left of an out of position João Carlos Maranhense, making the score, 6-0. Camille Baume received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. João Carlos Maranhense came out and tried to block the shot, but Camille Baume slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 39th minute. Frank Peletier scored 9-0 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Carlos Maranhense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 9-0.

The wind increased when Juvenal Valladares made the kick off in the second half. João Carlos Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camille Baume in the 54th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Chester Bennington defense, Camille Baume kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Carlos Maranhense. The Chester Bennington fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Carlos Maranhense should have stopped the shot. In the 59th minute of the game Christian de Almeida made a throw-in which Luiz Fábio Tepedino played forward. Juvenal Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Maxime Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Peletier in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Carlos Maranhense saved Chester Bennington from getting behind. João Carlos Maranhense came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by France's Remy Dupuy. But to his dismay, Remy Dupuy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. 68 minutes into the match, Frank Peletier notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Chester Bennington's João Carlos Maranhense. João Carlos Maranhense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 71 minutes into the match, Chester Bennington's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Peletier came free, but João Carlos Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Frank Peletier made a precise shot to the right of João Carlos Maranhense. Chester Bennington's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. João Carlos Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. João Carlos Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remy Dupuy in the 78th minute of the match. João Carlos Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Peletier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Chapuis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Carlos Maranhense having to interfere. After 87 minutes of play, France's Camille Baume made it 15-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Carlos Maranhense was left in no man's land by his defense there! João Carlos Maranhense came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by France's Robert Chapuis. But to his dismay, Robert Chapuis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 16-0. 95 minutes into the match, Chester Bennington's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Peletier came free, but João Carlos Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led to France's Frank Peletier getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Robert Chapuis might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Carlos Maranhense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Chapuis ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Chester Bennington defense, Robert Chapuis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Carlos Maranhense. The Chester Bennington fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Carlos Maranhense should have stopped the shot. France's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
