An unexpectedly hard shot by Wit Lampa in the 5th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Güralp Okanay heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hakan Işık in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Yu Ke Hui came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Viriato Moura got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Hakan Işık kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Kostas Kelaidonis sent off a good shot on target. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kostas Kelaidonis in the 33rd minute. Kostas Kelaidonis got in the 33rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Wilson Amorim handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Kostas Kelaidonis had several of the Portugal's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Wilson Amorim as he didn't even see the shot coming. Güralp Okanay kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Navigators's Yavuz Bülent Akbatu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 43rd minute of play. Zeynel Üke's late challenge caught a Portugal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeynel Üke helped the player get up and apologised. Zeynel Üke kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 45th minute of the match. Portugal were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Navigators's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felipe Barreto took the corner. The corner led Portugal's Felipe Barreto to fire away a dangerous shot which Yavuz Bülent Akbatu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Wit Lampa made the kick off in the second half. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute Wit Lampa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kostas Kelaidonis in the 57th minute of play. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Navigators's Yavuz Bülent Akbatu got control of the ball when Felipe Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Navigators's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Felipe Barreto scored to the left of an out of position Yavuz Bülent Akbatu, making the score, 2-1. Navigators made a substitution. Ahmet Malik replaced Kostas Kelaidonis. Navigators's Özbek Tokur was substituted for Güralp Okanay. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Yavuz Bülent Akbatu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Barreto in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute Ahmet Malik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Moreira in the 72nd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Navigators's Yavuz Bülent Akbatu. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Malik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Caetano Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yavuz Bülent Akbatu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
