Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elias Siqueira's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. The audience cheered loudly when Luiz Fabiano Sarmento's long shot in the 14th minute became 1-0 when the ball went to the left of and passed Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Elias Siqueira sent off a good shot on target. Marcelo Gröhe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Arsenal de Gols F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Marcelo Gröhe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guga de Mendonça hit a great ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viriato Moura to make the kick off. Felipe Barreto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcelo Gröhe came out and tried to block the shot, but Felipe Barreto slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 52nd minute. Marcelo Gröhe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Miranda in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Gröhe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arsenal de Gols F.C made a substitution. Abel Moreno replaced Elias Siqueira. After 62 minutes Arsenal de Gols F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipe Barreto who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Portugal's corner Faustino Almeida fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcelo Gröhe quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Arsenal de Gols F.C's Guga de Mendonça got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Guga de Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipinho Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Arsenal de Gols F.C's Marcelo Gröhe got control of the ball when Felipinho Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Luiz Fabiano Sarmento threw the ball into play from the sideline. Portugal's Bruno Bastos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Felipinho Amorim sped through Arsenal de Gols F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcelo Gröhe. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel Moreno went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. A sloppy throw-in by Guga de Mendonça in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. Marcelo Gröhe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 88th minute. Portugal were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Arsenal de Gols F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Pimentel took the corner. The corner ended in Graciano Coutinho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Arsenal de Gols F.C's Marcelo Gröhe did a great save. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipinho Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Marcelo Gröhe made a huge save. Abel Moreno might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel Moreno ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Arsenal de Gols F.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
