Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Ben Breton sent off a good shot on target. Nelio Tielves short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Arnout Reekers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fernan Erus hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Breton in the 35th minute of play. Mathijn Doctor hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. A hard and well directed shot from Fernan Erus led 37 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 2-2. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben Breton, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 41st minute of play forced Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goalkeeper Tristan Franquis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Tristan Franquis in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Tristan Franquis got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Liu Liang Gang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute of the match, Lars Meesters tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tristan Franquis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Netherlands eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
