When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Maximo Mikolas sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. A collision led to Portucale H5 getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Hamilton Espírito Santo hit a great ball. Maximo Mikolas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A sloppy throw-in by Ulrich Stein in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portucale H5's Micael Borges. In the 29th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Schiele to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximo Mikolas in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tommy Kahn stood somewhat misplaced when Maximo Mikolas came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 35 minute. Albin Holweck's late challenge caught a Portucale H5's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albin Holweck helped the player get up and apologised. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Portucale H5 got a freekick which was hit by Marc-Aurèle Barde. 45 minutes into the match, Portucale H5's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Holweck came free, but İbrahim Efe Vecih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Germany were awarded a corner. Frank Sachs went to the cornerflag to take it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gonçalo Pereira ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Portucale H5 fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Portucale H5's Maximo Mikolas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Estevão Antas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Estevão Antas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Mikolas in the 64th minute of play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Estevão Antas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Maximo Mikolas came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Portucale H5 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximo Mikolas couldn't finish the play. After 76th play minutes Maximo Mikolas shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Tommy Kahn and just under the crossbar into goal. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Mikolas in the 78th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Maximo Mikolas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Mikolas in the 83rd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Maximo Mikolas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximo Mikolas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0.
