Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Milosz Huk got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Croatia getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Damir Pongrac hit a great ball. In the 5th minute of the match, Stanislaw Miazga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ilija Skugor was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinko Stankovic in the 6th minute of play forced AKS Chorzów's goalkeeper Izydor Byczewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 played minutes AKS Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Mateusz Lato. Toni Mauzer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dinko Stankovic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Izydor Byczewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AKS Chorzów's Izydor Byczewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Bosak in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, AKS Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Toni Mauzer came free, but Izydor Byczewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Izydor Byczewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Mauzer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stanislaw Miazga. 24 minutes into the match, Milosz Huk dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ilija Skugor, 1-0. In the 28th minute of the match Milosz Huk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ilija Skugor skillfully saved the ball. AKS Chorzów's Izydor Byczewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toni Mauzer in the 30th minute of play. Hieronim Brataniec kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Dinko Stankovic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eduard Kostelac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Izydor Byczewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damir Pongrac in the 41st minute of the match. Radowit Wnukowski kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Borys Chrobak kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Dinko Stankovic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Toni Mauzer made the kick off in the second half. When Damir Pongrac fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Croatia's protests and gave Damir Pongrac a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of AKS Chorzów booed when Croatia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damir Pongrac didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilija Skugor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateusz Solecki in the 58th minute of play. Benjamin Domazet hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Aleksander Siekierka took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ilija Skugor. Croatia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mateusz Solecki hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Ilija Skugor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislaw Miazga in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milosz Huk in the 68th minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neven Culina kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Aleksander Walczak kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Toni Mauzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Izydor Byczewski having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Dinko Stankovic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Croatia's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinko Stankovic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Izydor Byczewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
