Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Milosz Huk got the match started through his kick off. In the 8th match minute, AKS Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksander Siekierka to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Leonhard Maier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Fabio Schneider came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Austria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Schneider couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind AKS Chorzów's goalkeeper Izydor Byczewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Stanislaw Miazga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stanislaw Miazga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Izydor Byczewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Nalder in the 34th minute of play. Borys Chrobak kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Marvin Harrer struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Izydor Byczewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Austria. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Jonas Nalder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Izydor Byczewski having to interfere. If Marvin Harrer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Austria's Fabio Auer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milosz Huk in the 77th minute of play. Stanislaw Miazga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Fabio Auer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Radowit Wnukowski hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Borys Chrobak during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, AKS Chorzów's Borys Chrobak got a free kick in the 95th minute. AKS Chorzów succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Austria had controlled the match.
